Delivery & Returns Information

Here at Autobrite Direct we aim to dispatch your goods on the same day as purchased or the next working day after depending on stock items and availability. The cut off time for same day dispatch is 2pm. The shipping selection on all orders will be either Royal Mail 'Signed For Delivery' packages, or over 1 Kilo parcels our DPD courier service will be available on a 24 Hour. We find that these services are most reliable with a online tracking system so you can track the status of your package (you must provide us with your unique e-mail address or a mobile telephone number and DPD courier services will text you with a update of your parcel) and most importantly a signature will be required upon the receipt of your package.   


                           

If you're not available when the package is delivered the delivery person will leave a calling card for you to make arrangements to have the parcel redellivered (within 2 days only) or you can pick up from a local post sorting depot or courier depot and ID must be provided.

Damaged Goods

If goods are damaged or faulty please inform us within 3 working days of receiving your order.

All parcels received must be checked for damage & leakage Before you sign! In any cases where you suspect there is any damage to the package you can refuse delivery (you must state your reason) and have it sent back to Autobrite Direct. It is the Customer's responsibility to check all goods for damage and to make a written note of any damage on the carrier's paperwork before signing for acceptance of said goods. Once goods have been signed for the Seller cannot accept any liability for damage since a clean signature invalidates any claim against the carrier. We will replace free of charge any goods lost in transit once we have received confirmation from the carrier that the goods are indeed lost. We will repair or replace free of charge goods damaged in transit provided that we receive written notification of such damage within two days of delivery and goods received in a damaged or unsatisfactory condition have been signed for as such. On receipt, goods should be checked against the enclosed invoice. Any shortages must be notified to us within 24 hours of receipt of goods, otherwise no liability can be accepted. The packing and contents should be retained for inspection.

All UK shipping costs will be based on the weight of the consignment,

Here at Autobrite Direct our choice of shipping will be either The Royal Mail first class recorded and DPD courier services 24 hour UK mainland and 48 hour Scottish Islands/off shore Islands, Northern Ireland, Ireland and European services. We find that they do generally provide a very good service and deliver most goods the next day or 1-2 days although unfortunately we/Autobrite Direct cannot guarantee this service. For parcels weighing up to 1 KG we will ship your order with The Royal Mail and over 1KG we will use the DPD courier service so your goods will be dispatched within 2 working days on a 24 hour service (UK Mainland only). Please note that some postcode areas will incur an extra day for your parcel to arrive.

Delivery on our Next Day service is made on working days and does not include weekends and bank holidays.

Information on International Deliverys

Autobrite Direct do ship International orders.

In order to be charged the correct shipping cost on your order, please select the correct two letter country code from the drop down list during the checkout procedure.

All internatiional shipping costs will be based on the weight of the consignment,

International orders are sent via DPD 48 hour courier services and The Royal Mail and in order to get a shipping quote you will need to register on our website and your delivery quote will be viewed in the checkout area without having to commit to any orders or payment details. Delivery times will take up to approx 5 working days depending on what country you are in. All international orders have a unique tracking number and this will be available upon request. When placing a order with us the correct country must be selected when entering your address details in order to ensure the correct postage costs are allocated to your order. Autobrite Direct can not be held responsible for the incorrect country being selected.

Order Information

If you’ve not received your order within 7 working days of receiving the despatch e-mail please contact us immediately.
We advise you to check the contents of the order with the invoice/dispatch advice note sent with the goods. In the rare instance that goods are missing, please contact us within 24 hours and we will be happy to replace the missing goods FOC and at no extra postage cost to you.

All orders will be dispatched to the delivery address that YOU state on your order and can not be changed when your parcel has been dispatched.

Saturday Delivery (Optional)

We do have a option for a Saturday delivery depending on certain postcodes. This information will be available in the checkout process. All orders must be received before 1pm on the preceeding Friday.

Returns Information

Under the United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations, the Customer has the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of any item within a period of 7 working days, beginning with the day after the day on which the item is delivered.  Goods must be returned to the Seller at the Customer's own expense and arrive in "as new" condition, upon which a refund will be issued for the full value of the goods (any postage/packaging costs paid by the Customer are non-refundable, unless the goods supplied by the Seller are faulty.)  Goods so returned must be in resaleable condition, appropriately packed, carriage paid and accompanied by a copy of the sales invoice/correspondence with the Seller in relation to the return.

  It is advisable to use a shipping method that requires a signature upon delivery, since proof of sending will not constitute proof of receipt of any returned item.

Collections At Our Store

If you select the Store Pickup option at checkout, no shipping charge will be applied and your order will be held at our premises in Newcastle-Under-Lyme,Staffordshire for collection during the business day (we can sometimes accomodate an early evening collection).  Please contact us beforehand (by phone or email) to advise us of your intended collection date/time so we can ensure your order is ready for you and there is somebody at the premises, thank you.
